Establishing a scholarship fund for Bahamian students wishing to attend Lyford Cay School is the inspiration of Antonius Roberts.

Antonius Roberts is a successful Bahamian Artist who has volunteered both time and materials and worked with students at Lyford Cay School, adjusting his teaching to different ages in grades 1 to 9.

The paintings produced by this enrichment program were auctioned in March 1999 and have raised over $50,000 for the Art in the Community Scholarship Fund.

 
The industrious students of the Lyford Cay School who study art under Mrs. Jenny Richardson have made a name for themselves in the arts community. They've already had shows at the Central Bank gallery and at Atlantis. The young artists get tips and talks from master Bahamian artist Antonius Roberts.
