During his visit to The Bahamas, Nelson Mandela, the President of South Africa, was presented with a painting by Bahamian artist Antonius Roberts in a ceremony at Rawson Square in the heart of down-town Nassau.
At a birthday celebration for Mrs. Rosa Parks, during the time she was in The Bahamas promoting her book Quiet Strength, Mr. Antonius Roberts presented her with a gift on behalf of the children of The Bahamas.
